CREW VISA

Who are eligible to apply:

An individual appointed as a Crew on international routes engaged in air/ship/other transport sector for performing professional duties, is eligible to apply for “C” visa.

The eligible person of this category of visa is required to submit a recommendation letter from the appropriate authority of the employer/airlines/shipping line mentioning applicant's name, passport number and the purpose of visit to Bangladesh. Employment in Bangladesh paid or unpaid is prohibited for "C" visa holder.

Duration of visa:

A "C" (Crew) Visa may be issued for a maximum period of three (03) years with single, double or multiple entries. Duration of each stay in this category is a maximum of 7 days in case of airlines and 30 days in case of ships or other transport.

Extension of visa:

With a letter from the employer, local sponsor and police clearance certificate, visa could be extended by the “Department of Immigration and Passport” (DIP), Dhaka, Bangladesh for up to another three (03) years.
